About

The man behind the camera

I was in the 7th grade when I decided what I wanted to do.

I left my rural hometown in North Carolina to study photography at the acclaimed Portfolio Center in Atlanta. After graduation, I worked alongside the city’s best shooters, met my wife and started a family.

My work was recognized by the advertising industry’s finest publications. One of my proudest moments was showing my visiting parents the 6-story billboard that featured a photo I had shot for Kodak.

I came back to NC, but not to the country. We found a historic seaside town with a surprising variety of restaurants and several connecting flights.

Now I shoot for agencies and brands all over America. I enjoy capturing images in ordinary, and not-so-ordinary places.

Big city service with a small town smile.
